We have an opening for an Exercise Physiologist to join our team of allied health professionals! Better Movement Clinic is currently adding to our team of allied health professionals and is seeking driven Exercise Physiologist to join our Toowoomba and Goondiwindi team.


Our team is an award-winning multidisciplinary practice offering services from our clinics in Toowoomba and Dalby, along with outreach locations from these practices. This position will service our Goondiwindi regions and Toowoomba clinic.

Well this role is for you!  Our Exercise physiologist role can be catered for full-time or part-time roles delivering services from our Goondiwindi Outreach team. There may be requirements to provide services in other locations dependent upon need. Community-based and hydrotherapy services are also offered. The successful candidate will operate under a growth plan to develop skills and focus priorities to grow within the business. You also have an opportunity to add to our diverse multidisciplinary practice and develop a case load tailored to suit your skills and interests.

Key tasks and responsibilities: 

  • Provide high quality and evidence-based Exercise Physiology assessments and interventions 
  • Communicate with clients appropriately with a range of cultural backgrounds, communication styles and communication abilities 
  • Measure outcomes of intervention to demonstrate effectiveness
  • Work collaboratively with clients to achieve their goals 
  • Work in a culturally appropriate, client-centred and inclusive manner 
  • Work collaboratively with other clinicians within the practice to achieve client outcomes 
  • Provide community education and information sessions 
  • Work with external stakeholders to ensure best outcomes for clients 

     

What we need you to have:

  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • Driver's license and reliable car
  • ESSA Accreditation
  • The ability to obtain a Yellow and Blue Card
  • Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance
